Adeleon Acquires DrDeppe, Expanding Its Footprint in the Medical Industry

On July 22, 2024, Adeleon Familienholding, a family-owned holding based in Monheim am Rhein, acquired DrDeppe, a company previously held by INVISION. DrDeppe (www.drdeppe.de) was founded in 1980 and contributes significantly to hygiene and infection control in healthcare through its disinfection products. From development to production and filling, DrDeppe produces high-quality liquids, soaps, lotions, gels, and impregnated wipes. These disinfectants are certified, highly effective, and safe, backed by DrDeppe’s over 40 years of expertise in development, manufacturing, innovative strength, and knowledge in the field of disinfection.

As part of a succession plan for the Deppe founding family, INVISION acquired a majority stake in the company in 2017. Significant investments were made in the two Kempen locations, greatly expanding production capacities and significantly strengthening the company’s regulatory expertise. This enabled DrDeppe to successfully obtain MDR certification (Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices) and complete numerous biocide approval processes. With these certifications, DrDeppe can deliver MDR-compliant medical products to its customers and bring new innovations and product developments to the market.

Following Adeleon's strategy, DrDeppe will continue to increase its investments in research and development, new technologies, and international structures in the coming years under the continued leadership of Managing Directors Dr. Mark Derks and Hendrik Hahn.
